DESCRIPTION:The popular 10 mile race enjoys a fast\, flat course\, mainl
 y on the traffic-free seafront promenade from Hythe to Folkestone and ba
 ck. Folkestone Running Club has been organising the Folkestone 10 since 
 1984. The race is professionally organised with careful route marking\, 
 marshalling and chip-timing.\n\nThe 2025 Folkestone 10 Race takes place 
 on Good Friday 18th April 2025 at 10am starting from Hythe Green.  Ent
 ry is only possible via their website\, entries cannot be accepted on ra
 ce day.\nJUNIOR FUN RUN\nThere will also be a Junior Fun Run on The Gree
 n\, starting at 10:15. Cash entries will be taken on the day\, cost £3.
 \n\n 	School Year 4 and below – 500m distance\n 	School Year 5 up to a
 ge 16 – 1500m distance\n\nWhilst the race might be full\, anyone can s
 upport!  There are many gorgeous places to hang out and cheer on the ru
 nners.  Top spots include the Sandgate Esplanade (grab a cuppa from Loa
 f\, Orchard Lane or Mr Whippet's) or the Mermaid Beach (Mermaid café ne
 arby) or the Coastal Park where the gardens are particularly beautiful r
 ight now.
