Witness a charged and tense performance of Agatha Christie’s forgotten psychodrama Love From a Stranger.

London, 1936. Cecily Harrington is a woman engaged to be married, but restlessness and wanderlust lead her to fall for another man, Bruce Lovell. Bruce is exotic, adventurous, and everything her fiancé is not. Falling helplessly for this handsome stranger, she abandons her husband-to-be, marries Bruce and is whisked away to an apparently idyllic country cottage.

She broke her ex-fiancé’s heart, but it was worth it for what appeared to be true love, wasn’t it?

She left her friends, family and everything she knew to escape to the country with Bruce, but everything would surely be paradise from now on, wouldn’t it?

It all seemed so easy to leave that day in Bayswater, but as time creeps forward, Cecily’s new love shows himself to be anything but simple…

FHODS are delighted to perform this lesser-known Christie play, and we hope you will join us for this thrilling event.
