SUMMARY:Walk and Talk: Folkestone’s Lost Heritage
DESCRIPTION:We will take a walk around Folkestone\, looking at its archi
 tecture to gain an appreciation of the heritage that has been retained a
 nd buildings at risk. Through pictures\, we will also get a glimpse of t
 he past and those buildings that have been lost – as well as plans tha
 t didn’t come to fruition.\n\nThe walk should take 2-3 hours and is mo
 stly along relatively level ground including The Leas. There may be a fe
 w cobblestones and gradients\, e.g. the pedestrian precinct.\n\nWe would
  recommend sensible walking shoes\, appropriate dress for the weather\, 
 bringing any walking aids you may need and sun protection if it is a bri
 ght day.\n\nIf the weather is particularly inclement\, the walk can be g
 iven in the comfort of The Community Room as a slideshow presentation.\n
 \nThe walk starts and ends in The Community Room on The Bayle. Refreshme
